lets compare.... Samsung 10.1 vs iPad 2

maybe its quite late already for me to make this post coz all other ppl already aware about it. hehe. nevertheless, im making this comparison with reference to phonearena.com and summarizes it for those yg malas nk baca panjang lebar *wink*

DESIGN

Samsung 10.1 - plasticy nature (lighter), 10.1” size, 1280 x 800 pixels, left and right speakers, more depth in colour

iPad2 - more refined and polished construction, 9.7” size, 1024 x 768 pixels, single speaker (back corner), more natural looking color production

Similarity/No different - dedicated power buttons and volume rockers, port (proprietary data/charging connectors) 

"(both) don’t provide any means of supplementing their internal storage capacities – meaning, you’re stuck with whatever you pick."

INTERFACE & FUNCTIONALITY

Samsung 10.1 - 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, sprinkling of complexity but with a ton more appreciable personalization, better implements multi-tasking and notifications, offers voice recognition for inputting text

iPad2 - 1GHz Apple A5 processor, more gracious with its movement, easier and straightforward platform with its simplistic nature.

Similarity/No different - on-screen keyboards are well sized and responsive, layouts of Gmail interfaces (two-panel layout), organizer apps (calendar and address book)

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY

Samsung 10.1 - true desktop-like experience with web browsing, more features (Flash support and incognito mode)

iPad2 -  lacking but still delivers a resounding experience 

Similarity/No different - Complex pages load in a timely manner, same set of connectivity options (Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, aGPS, and their proprietary dock connection ports)

Samsung 10.1 -3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera (sharper), 720p video recording (superior quality)

iPad2 - filled with soft details and washed out looking colors(look rather muddy and hazy overall)

MULTIMEDIA

Samsung 10.1 - tastefully full of eye-catching visuals, rather neutral in tone

iPad2 - lacking that polarizing presentation, outputting deeper bass tones

Similarity/No different - playing high-definition videos

PERFORMANCE

Samsung 10.1 - thinnest and lightest, Android 3.1 Honeycomb (higher degree of personalization, better implementation of notifications, and an integrated experience), shooting photos and videos

iPad2 - solid construction, and choice of premium materials
