VACAY2010 : Day09_TheRocksMarket.Departure

DAY NINE was our last day of vacay in Sydney. it marked our closing of VACAY2010. we still woke up early to do all packing before targetting to head to

THE ROCKS Market

its located at the opposite site of Sydney Opera House or to be specific.. near to the Harbour Bridge. its fun to stroll around here coz the stuff sold here.. its rather unique but still quite pricey. its not like our normal pasar malam but more like pasar seni

then we stroll along the harbour, snapped some of our last pix here.. *sad* huhu. we target to reach malaysia hall by 12pm coz we know it will be quite a walk from the hall to the bus 400 stop to airport.  however.... let me share you our rezeki here *wink*

after did all packing and ready to go, the was this one kind man whom offered us a ride to the airport. he dropped by malaysia hall to do his laundry. we was like "eh.. takpela.. menyusahkan u nnt. airport jauh". he said "takpala... hang org malaysia, aku pon sama, marila.. ni namanye rezeki" and yes indeed it was a rezeki for us! he sent us straight to the airport with his MPV. the funny thing was qist dont want to take the ride. she said "nanak..nanak.. nak walk" LOL. coz qist always afraid of strangers!

alhamdulillah we arrived airport safely and qist was very very happy with her brand new skirt bought at the DFO. alhamdulillah we met 2 young japanese girl in which we passed them our MyMulti pass for local transportation

our jetstar connected us to Melbourne before our flight back to Malaysia via Airasia

VACAY2010 : Day08_BlueMountain.SydneyOperaHouse

our DAY EIGHT journey tooks us to the

Blue Mountain

we took a train from the city straight to this place. it was a 2hours ride from city but for ur.. it ends up to be 4 hours!! hahhahha. simply becoz we dont know about the 2hr-train *gosh* we reach Blue Mountain around noon. firstly, we purchase a

Tram Hop-On Hop-Off Ride

there was only 2 tram or bus hop-on hop-off rides available. we took the tram to have the old-time feel~~ this place is rather small but we enjoy it very much especially the

Echo Point

where its main attraction is here..

3 Sisters

from the Echo Point, we made our way for the

Scenic World

that gave us opportunity to have a feel of 4 different rides

Skyway, Cableway, Railway, Walkway

it was very fascinating to see those attractions using these rides!! we continue on our journey until dust before we headed back to the City. it was very very B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L during this time... *subhanallah*

when we arrived at the City, there was still plenty of time to catch the moment so we decided to have a closer feel of the

Sydney Opera House

yup!!! its indeed... a masterpiece~~ simply and truly the O.N.E. enjoy all pix peeps!~

VACAY2010 : Day07_SydneyCityTour

earlier we planned to have our DAY SEVEN trip to Blue Mountain. since we are not ready with infos on how to travel overthere, we switch our plan to

Sydney City Tour

well.. Sydney City is not that big. i mean... if u want to travel from one interesting spot to another, you can either walk or hop onto local buses, trains or ferries. it would be the cheapest if you buy their daily passes rather than paying for each stations. we started with

Paddy's Market

or also known as Market City. its rather similar to Victoria Market in Melbourne. the difference.... price! *wink* paddy's offer slightly higher price than victoria's. well.. i guess becoz its a big city maybe~ we bought some souveniers here and continue walking passing thru

Sydney Entertainment Centre

towards Darling Harbour

this harbour is the next best place to hang around after Circular Quay harbour. it has so much to offer... chinese garden, tumbalong park, Sydney Aquarium, Maritime Museum, Harbourside Shopping Center and many more!! click here to view the map

qist was so excited when she saw a small playground at the tumbalong park. from here we took a ferry towards circular quay and continue on to the other side of harbour. we wanted to have a closer look of the Opera House. you may click at the pix for larger view

as maghrib approaching, we were very tired and opted to hang around in the city center mall waiting to break-fast. later on we continue our night walk. owh owh.. whereever i go, if i saw LV, straightaway i will remember a fren of mine..LV. yup!! u know who u are dollie~~

Sydney city is just lovely and interesting to be explored both during the day and night. for us, we love it during dust coz its the most beautiful time when nature and masterpiece blend together!!

VACAY2010 : day06_Sydney... here we come!

its time to say goodbye to Melbourne *city* in our DAY SIX. woke up very early to pack all stuff and ready to rock Sydney u ols~~!! we took the skybus from city to the airport.

it was on an hour flight connecting Melbourne-Sydney. we arrived Sydney around 1030am and start searching for the cheapest transportation into the city...

bus 400

tweet tweet~~ u just walk outside, pass through a parking area and tadaaa~ u will see the bus stand. but be alert that there are two buses numbered as 400. take the one that go to bondi junction. it cost us only AUD4.30 to get until Randwick, where the Malaysia Hall Sydney lies. u may opt for train taht cost around AUD17 + AUD 7.80 *if am not mistaken* that 17 dollar is the cost just to get you out of airport zone. or you may opt for cab that will cost much more expensive.

arriving in Randwick, a small nearest town to MH, we asked around shops there for MH. no one seems knows where izzit except this one indian guy. his description is precisely correct... but only his timing advice is way too offset!! huhu. he said its around 2-3 mins but it took us 20mins!!! well i guess he must thot that we are driving ~~ huhu

here in Sydney MH, you have to take off ur shoe before entering. the room has its own private bathroom. we dont have a chance to meet kak nani as she just received a granddaugh. awww....... next time ye kak nani. really wanted to meet u!

after some rest, we bought our weekly pass that cost us way cheaper than daily pass!! only AUD57. owh... dont be surprised with the amount coz you can use it for all mode of transportation *except taxi* and to anywhere in the railmap!! *hows that!!* hehe. just google about myMulti pass

ku has been asking for spot for buka puasa. i was like... "i dunno lah.. janji berbuka!" as ku wanted to have the best moment for our 1st time and 1st day buka puasa in Sydney, we chose to buka puasa at the

Sydney Opera House

i tell you... for those photographer and camera freak, please come down here during dust as you can see the best, if not, the greatest view of Sydney!!! the colour, the sky, the lighting, the everything.. is perfect!! even the Harbour bridge climb cost the most expensive during dust! *believe it??*

i just L.O.V.E to hang out here as you can see the beautiful combination of city, harbour and nature *subhanallah* no wonder people just love to be here in Sydney... its gorjes!!

stay tune for my Sydney tours in DAY SEVEN!
