EuropeTrip2009 : Paris part1

hye peeps~! i would like to share on my EuropeTrip2009 as requested by mama zharfan *hye suzie* this time am sharing on our trip to

PARIS the city of L.O.V.E

personally i would prefer paris more than london. for me, london is more congested as compared to paris. i think because of the population *london is smaller than paris (?)* our trip started from london-spain-morocco-paris-london. we took internal europe low cost carrier, easyjet. very easy & very cheap! we choose to travel during hari raya simply becoz of not enuff leave left! hohoho. it was quite cold.. temperature around 9degC lowest and 18degC highest. ok lets start the journey...

we landed at Charles de Guille Airport and took RER route
Massy Palaiseau-Chatelet Les Halles - Marne la Vallee Chessy - Bry sur marne

we chose to stay at City ResidenceBry sur marne. this apartment is in a middle between Paris city and Disneyland. its a 2-storey apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 sofabed, living & dining area. its quite spacious as we went as a one BIG happy family *wink* our journey around paris only started in day 2 since we arrived quite late at night at the hotel.

day 2 started by taking RER to Poissy - Nation. they exchanged with Metro to Porte Dauphine (Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny) - Anvers. we arrived at Sacre Coeur or its longer name is Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Paris *fuish!* . quite a walk to climb up there! click here to view the details.

after that, using Metro we are heading Anvers - Porte Dauphine (Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny) - Charles de Gaulle-Etoile. tadaa~! arrived at Arc de Triomphe. yup~~ its rite in the middle of a road!! a big circle actually. so we have to used the underground to get there.

continue on to Concorde, you may use Metro to Charles de Gaulle-Etoile - Chateau de Vincennes - Champs Elysees Clemenceau or opted for a bus ride. we chose a bus ride to get more paris view! owh yes... bus ride was also a good choice as we spot on few interesting places and decided to stop at earlier bus stop and walk towards the Concorde.

from concorde heading to Eiffle tower. take metro to La Defense (Grande Arche) - Charles de Gaulle - Etoile - Nation - Bir Hakeim (Grenelle). yup its so tall..... we enjoyed eating our tapau nasi & bread while qist enjoyed playing with the ducks!!

continue to day 3 this afternoon

stay tune peeps~!!
